Dr. Teppei Tsukiyama
About
Dr. Teppei Tsukiyama graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Kyushu University in 2001. After working in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Saga Medical University in 2004,
Dr. Tsukiyama moved to the United States in 2006 and had been trained in the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston from 2006 to 2009.
Dr. T had also extensive advanced restorative training in Advanced Aesthetic Program in Department of Prosthodontics, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine from 2010 to 2011.
During this time, Dr. T was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for best clinical performance.
In 2009, Dr. T earned Board Certification in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry from the American Academy of Periodontology,
and in 2017, Dr. T was certified by the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO). At the time, Dr. T became the first Japanese dentist to be certified in both the U.S. and Europe.
Dr. T specializes in periodontics, implants, and esthetic prosthodontics, implementing a medical perspective into dental care—focusing on diagnostics, treatment planning, clinical monitoring, preventive programs, and maintenance—all at or above global standards.

PHIJ is an organization that provides dental education programs. As co-founder of PHIJ, Dr. Tsukiyama conduct seminars and lectures to create opportunities for dentists to thrive, advance dental education and skills, and promote preventive healthcare worldwide.
10X is an educational institution that serves as a gateway for dental interns after graduation, aiming to “develop individuals who can provide 10X the value to society.” Through a one-year comprehensive curriculum and special lectures for nurturing the next generation of young dentists.
As the organizer of Dental Square Japan, we offer practical clinical training with the aim of mastering high-quality, reproducible daily dental care at a global standard. Our mission is to cultivate “dentists who can independently conduct examinations and diagnoses, and autonomously carry out clinical procedures.”
